We Still Call These Things Phones?

Follow CamThere are definitely times while we’re out shooting that throwing our phone on a gimbal or using it to shoot some supplementary photography is almost a no-brainer. And with seemingly monthly advancements in camera phone technology, you can almost seamlessly intertwine phone footage with the big guns you may use on your video and photo shoots. Our go-to for shooting video is our DJI Osmo 3 mobile paired with the Filmic Pro app. Used together they provide some great footage. Along with Filmic Pro is Filmic Double Take, which basically turns your phone into a multi-cam recorder.
I also recently upgraded to the iPhone 12 pro, which now has the ability to shoot RAW. I’ll more than likely never need to shoot professional photos with it, but it sure is nice to know that, if I do want to shoot an epic sunset or anything with dynamic range, I can do it with the camera that is always with me. Check out how to turn on RAW shooting with ios 14.3 or newer.
